What firms say after the switch
Most of our visitors are on phones, so that is where I reviewed the new bookkeeping onboarding pages. Everything a visitor needs is up top, and the inquiry button stands out properly. Sending the link by text during a call finally works the way it should.

The audit found our bookkeeping onboarding details repeated across several pages, each worded slightly differently. Consolidation came with a checklist, so a change in one place is checked everywhere it matters. Customers no longer quote wording we retired two years ago.

The old bookkeeping onboarding form lost people at the error message; we knew because they told us. The messages name the problem, and correcting a field no longer clears the rest. It now helps people finish instead of catching them out.

Which website option is right for an accounting firm?
The questions firm owners ask while comparing.
What is the best way to get a website for an accounting firm?
It depends on who you want doing the work. If you or a staff member enjoy building and maintaining a site, a builder such as Wix or Squarespace can work. If you have a developer, WordPress or Webflow give control. If you want the site built, hosted, updated and kept fast for a flat monthly fee, a managed site like ours fits, from $137 a month.
How do you keep these comparisons fair?
Every page says when the other option is the better fit, describes competitors in general terms unless we checked a fact on their official site, lists the sources and dates for anything specific, and quotes no competitor prices, because plans change.
Can I keep GoHighLevel and still use your website?
Yes. Many firms keep GoHighLevel as their CRM, pipelines, calendars and automations, and use our site as the fast front end. Forms and enquiries route into GoHighLevel by direct API, Zapier or Make.
What does every comparison look at?
The same twelve lines on every page: speed and core web vitals, seo control, schema and json-ld, aeo and geo readiness, hosting and security, maintenance burden, who does the work, content and blog, design quality, accessibility and compliance pages, cost model, lock-in and ownership.
Are you affiliated with any of these companies?
No. GetAccountingWebsite is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any company named on these pages. Their names are trademarks of their owners and appear as plain text only.
What does switching to a managed site involve?
You fill in the onboarding form, we run one onboarding call, build the site in 7 to 15 days depending on plan, redirect your old URLs and point your domain once you approve. The $797 build fee is invoiced only after that.
Which option is fastest for page speed?
Any platform can be fast or slow depending on how it is built. We hold every page we build and host to a 90+ PageSpeed target on mobile and desktop and fix any page that falls below it at no charge.
Which option gives me the most ownership?
With us, your domain is registered in your name and transferred at no charge if you leave. With self-hosted WordPress you own the software install; with hosted builders the site generally lives on that platform. Each comparison page covers lock-in in its own row.
